The dance industry can be competitive, intense, and, at times, overwhelming. It’s easy to fall into comparison - your ability, your progress, even your appearance - and lose the confidence that made you fall in love with dance in the first place.

I’ve experienced that firsthand.

My journey

I started dancing at the age of three and never lost my passion for it. But after graduating high school, things shifted. Without structure, and with the responsibilities of adulthood setting in, my routine of dancing five days a week was replaced by work and other commitments.

While my love for dance never faded, my confidence, motivation, and sense of direction did.

I began to hesitate - intimidated by classes, discouraged by costs, and often feeling stuck. I found it difficult to take opportunities, to grow, and to allow myself to be vulnerable again. Stepping outside your comfort zone is challenging enough, but doing so in an environment that feels unforgiving can make it even harder.

But it doesn’t have to be that way…

My name is Tiana Lucas. I completed my Certificate IV in Dance in 2022 and have experience choreographing across multiple styles, as well as teaching all ages and ability levels.

In 2025, I joined the Gold Coast Titans Cheer Squad as part of an extended dance crew, which took me to Dallas, Texas for an exclusive workshop with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. That experience pushed me to take control of my own dance journey - to stop waiting for opportunities and start creating them.

Studio333 was born from that decision.
